Model portfolio building or “Testing” as they call it in the modeling industry is the single most important marketing tool a model can have to develop their career.

As a model you should know that your body condition, personality and accomplishment of work (portfolio) is what sells you to companies wishing to brand their product.

When photographers, magazines, clothing companies, and beauty brands browse through your portfolio a beautiful or unique face isn’t the only thing they are looking for, most search for models with the “it” factor.

“It” is personality and the best, most successful way to portray that through your photographs is to work with an experienced photographer that will work with you to draw out your personality and quirky traits through an interesting and almost avant-garde style of shooting techniques.

Finding a photographer that is patient with inexperienced models and that is willing to direct them through their first photo shoot is key to those striving to start a career in the modeling field. In addition to providing models with quality photographs we will do a pre-photo shoot consult with you to help direct you in the appropriate category of modeling that you will be most successful at. Many models, male and female watch television shows like America’s Next Top Model and want that type of fashion photography. While we will shoot that for you if that is what you want, you might be wasting your money if you are not a size 0-2 or are less than 5’7”. There are many different mediums of the modeling industry such as commercial print that you might be much more financially successful in, and this is why we will offer our experienced advise to those seeking it.

We also have a team of hair and makeup artists, plus clothing stylists, that can work with you to ensure that you get the overall look and style you are aspiring towards.
